To prevent the screw from "jumping" on DANFOSS adapters, you should tighten the screw by hand, not too tightly and avoid using a tool. The adapter's clamping screw should be tightened just enough so that the adapter does not move, but no more.
The head can then be attached to the adapter. Manual tightening is also sufficient.
